For my birthday my MOm gave me a photography book. I read the first couple pages and decided to practice the concepts. The first chapter is about Framing the photo. This concept is a little hard for me to grasp. The following photo's were taken in my living room. I used natural light for all, but one of these pictures. These pictures are silly and will soon be erased from my computer, but I am working on specific concepts.

This is another example of alignment. The carpet touches 2 sides of this picture, helping to create a frame.
In these couch pictures I was Trying to use the concept of Alignment. However, I think my subject, the couch, was a little to bulky and it didn't work. I also wanted to include both of these pictures to show the difference with and without a flash. The above picture I used a flash and the couch is washed out. I have been told that the flash will do the exact thing with faces and to not use a flash whenever possible. This is one of my current struggles.
